Established in 2016, HerRights Inc. (@HerRightsGlobal) is a registered nonprofit in the state of Arizona, USA, with a volunteer Board of Directors and operations in the United States as well as India. The organization is tax-exempt, 501c3 certified, and welcomes contributions from foundations, business collaborators, and individual philanthropists. Tanushree Ghosh, Founder and President
Dr. Tanu Ghosh works for the Intel Corporation. She has a Ph.D. from Cornell University in Material Science/Chemistry, and has served on the boards of several multichapter NGOs (ASHA and AID). She is also an author and a blogger for the Huffington Post.
Ruia Gautam, Chair, Outreach, Projects & Programs Committee
Ms. Prasad is a community organizer and communications specialist focused on crucial causes including women’s rights, immigration, mass incarceration, economic justice, and voting rights.
Angelina E. Brandwein, Chair, Board Development, Strategy & Media Committee
Ms. Brandwein is an innovation strategist with a passion for social justice via health. She received her Master of Healthcare Innovation at Arizona State University, and serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Institute for Mental Health Research.
Banoo J. Parpia
Dr. Parpia is the Director of International Development at Cornell University. She received her Ph.D. from Cornell University, and spent a good part of her early career on the research faculty in the Division of Nutritional Sciences there.
Prem C. Dhall
Dr. Dhall is a veterinarian by training, and is now retired after more than 30 years of service for the State Bank of India. He engages in and supports important social causes from his hometown of Chandigarh, India.

Tanushree Ghosh, PhD
Founder & Board President
Tanushree Ghosh is a senior leader at the Intel Corporation in the U.S. She has a doctorate in chemistry from Cornell University, is an alum of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and is a social activist and author. Dr. Ghosh has been a regular contributor to the Huffington Post in the U.S., and a women's rights advocate worldwide. Ruia Gautam

Ruia Gautam is a communications specialist for a nonprofit in Arizona. She has served as a community organizer in the Phoenix metropolitan area for many years, focusing on issues such as immigration, mass incarceration, economic justice, and voting rights. She previously served as Project Director and Communications Coordinator for OCA Greater Phoenix, the Arizona chapter of one of the oldest national civil rights organizations advocating for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs).

Angel Brandwein is a growth strategist with expertise in operations management, startup leadership, board development, and tactical marketing. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Institute for Mental Health Research (IMHR) in Arizona. Prior to her work with IMHR, she established and managed the Health Futures Council at Arizona State University. Her areas of passion include social justice, gender rights, and mental health and healthcare disparities.

Madhumanti Ghosh, MA
Web Development
Madhumanti Ghosh is a talented designer based in Bangalore, India. She is well-respected in the design community for her innovative solutions that elevate across-the-board customer experience. An alum of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, as well as the National Institute of Design, she currently serves as a Senior User Experience Consultant at Deloitte Digital. She has an avid interest in the utilization of art as a tool to promote gender equity.

ROSHNI GHOSH
Roshni works for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as a patent agent. She has a PhD from St. John's University in Developmental Genetics, and is pursuing a JD from Fordham Law school, part time in the evening. She also acts as a volunteer for Lawyer for a Day program in Westchester Supreme Court and International Refugee Assistance Project.
